how can you tell a male from a female cockatiel

i have a cockatiel bird and i dont know how to tell if its a male or female

Hello! What color is your cockatiel (grey, white, yellow, a mixture of colors)? Is the underside of it's tail feathers solid or not solid? Does s/he have any white spots on it's wings/back? Does this bird sing or just chirp? How bright is the orange patch on it's cheek (bright orange or washed out orange)? If this bird is white/yellow-white, does it have more yellow than white on it's body?

The answers to these questions will help me respond to your initial question.
