I have an 8 year old Cockatiel who accidentally landed into a small bucket of warm water mixed with baby oil. She was lucky I thought because she did not injest any of this water and oil mixture. I gave her a gentle cleaning with mild hand soap to try to get the oil off of her, but not only did that not work, since last night when this happened she has hardly eaten or drank, seems to shake alot on and off, and then does nothing but sleep. Could she have done much worse injury then I realize? When I hold her she doesn't act as if she is hurt.
