Yesterday my friend and I rescued a couple of cockatiels from a neglectful home. One male and one female. The nest box contained 3 eggs. But they have not been sat on by the birds since we brought them home last night. They've probably been off them, to long now, for them to hatch, right? The female has NOT ONE FEATHER ON HER HEAD! Can you give me a probable explanation, as to why? And, will the feathers grow back? Will anything help them to grow back faster?

Age: <1; Female; Breed: cockatiel
