My canary I just bought her not to long ago maybe 5 days ago. She is a young red factor canary. When I first saw her I notice she was missing feathers around her eye but closer to the beak. She trys to chirp but it's a rusty one and she makes these weird sound that sound like she is sneezing but they are longer. But she is very active most of the time but sometimes you see her down. Could you please shead some light on whats she is going through? Thanks alot.

Reply to Patricia's Post: well my canary is about 1 month old. I got her from petsmart. I examine her what is not a lump closer and saw that it is actually growing inside her mouth but growing outward of the side of her face (close to the beak). She still has the same activity she eats alot and drinks and that the only time she is active. She was caged all by herself when I got her.I use to think is was a lice or mite problem but now i really think it's something else. She use to chirp clearly but no longer does.if by any chance you know what it is would you know what to do to slow it down while I get to the vet. I called the vets but they are leaving to a exotic bird confrence. So she wont be able to be checked out till the 7th of june.. Thanks alot for your time I hope to hear from you very soon..
