Ear scab

My dog seems to have what is like a scab on the tip of her ear. She hasn’t been able to catch it on anything so what could this be? I don't know if there's such thing as a parasite that eats at dogs ears or not. I don't think she's able to chew on it and I don't have other animals that could chew on it either.
