I have a 4 week old kitty and since her mother is not around to teach her to use the litter box I was told to put the kitty in the box after every nap, every time after she eats, first thing in the morning, and last thing at night before I put her to sleep. Is this correct and the very BEST wat to do it? I know she is only 4 weeks but following with this will it really work?

Yes this will help. Baby animals usually need to go when they wake, when they play, when they eat etc. Pretty much any time they 'look funny' you put them in the box.
If she is out and about in your house having a close box on every floor might be a good idea if she is around everywhere with you.
Being 'reminded' by putting her in the box will help her learn that is *the* place to go.
Make sure to use plain clay litter and not clumping stuff until she is old enough that she won't eat it.
Hope this helps you!

That should be OK for her to use but if you catch her eating it then swap to plain clay for a while. The clay is pretty inert and won't hurt her if she samples it though you do have to clean and change it more.
