glaucoma treatment

Dear Vet; I have a 10 years old shih Tzu male doc;aprox 2 years ago I took him to UC Davis in Ca. for removal of bilateral catarats. As a result the dog lost tthe sigth of the one eye first, and aprox 3 months later, the sgth of the other eye. I took the little doc back to UC Davis, to the small animal clinic.   The diagnosis was Glucoma. I would like to know if there is any treatment that can correct, or to restore his vision. Glaucoma after cataract surgery is pretty common.
