virginia. he has bonded to us but there is severe sep-
aration anxiety. our door is pretty scratched. we are
moving to bridgeport, new jersey mid december and wanted
a guard dog. lucky does bark at atrangers when they come
to the door. he is half hound and half lab. we only
want strangers scared not killed. he’s got a huge bark
but a kitty at heart. also we have four cats, will they
ever accept him?

DO you know roughly how old he is? Has he been around your cats yet and how does he act?

Response to ZooCVT's Post: he is 8 months old. we live in pennsylvania
and i drove 29+ round trip to get him from
a rescue in stuart, virginia about a week ago.
then the day i came home he ran away from my
husband while walking, and i FOUND him at our
local spca the next day. so we haven't had
him long. that's how long he's been around the cats. he really doesn't bother with them. in-
itially he would just go up to them and they would
his and you could just tell his feelings were
hurt and he'd walk away.
