my cocatail is losing feathers around one of his eyes?

around one of his eyes, it seems the feathers are falling out or have been rubbed off.. is this normal

Ok. You should probably have him seen. This may be a case of mites that should be treated soon. You don't want to wait too long. They have a nasty habit of making the problem worse. You can also set up a video camera to tape and see what he is doing.
