i have a two year old mini rex rabbit. she has been having large balls of poo stuck on her rear and we have tried cutting them off about three times. today we did it again, and now i am noticing that she is passing oval shaped wet poop. there are a few normal looking droppings in her litter box, but they are much smaller than normal. any ideas?

Optional Information:
Age: 2; Female; Breed: rabbit (mini rex)

Can you tell me just what her diet consists of and is she a normal weight for her breed?

Reply to Animal Eyes's Post: i feed her rabbit pellets and timothy hay. she usually gets one or two leaves of romaine lettuce daily. i think that she would be classified as a little overweight

Thanks. Because of the fact that the stools are becoming less and loose, she may be having some digestive problems. If her eating has decreased then I feel that you should get her to your vet. She may be developing a case of Ileus, which is when the intestinal tract slows down or stops moving food thru. If this continues for more than another day or so I would get her seen. Also give her just the hay for now, nothing else, see if the higher fiber intake will start things moving thru again.
