I HAVE AN 11 YEAR OLD BLACKFACE LOVEBIRD THAT HAS RECENTLY BEGUN TO HAVE FEATHER LOSS NEAR HIS BEAK. HE HAD A MATE APPROXIMATELY 9 YEARS AGO BUT THE OTHER BIRD DIED. OTHER THAN THE FEATHER LOSS, THE BIRD ID STILL ACTIVE, EATS WELL, BATHES AND PLAYS WITH HIS TOYS. WHAT ARE SOME POSSIBLE CAUSES FOR THIS FEATHER LOSS? DO YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION REGARDING AVIAN VETERNARIANS IN THE BROOKLYN, NY AREA? THANKS
