I volunteer at an animal shelter...we would like to give our visitors a booklet dealing with care of cats, dogs especially...everything I see on the internet costs ($25.00) or more...what can I do not to violate copyright laws and have such information available to our patrons?

You can have your own designed and printed in a format that is affordable. What you need to do is to gather the information that you would like to include and figure how many pets you adopt out a year and approximately how much would you like to afford toward each book. So for instance you adopt out 500 pets and you'd like 500 extra books. You can say 1000 books at $8.00 each equals a budget of $8,000 dollars.

All the information I have obtained has a "rights reserved" message...Does this mean I can't copy these pages?? The shelter would not make any money on this venture.
