Alpaca Help, Camelidid Family

Questions on Alpacas
6 alpacas die within one week. first symptons are shown 30 min. before death. Animal begins to stagger, lays down, weak, will not respond. Increased breathing, which eventually turns to suffication. Animals have CDT shots, are fed properely. Recent drought believed to cause nitrate poisoning, but blood looks healthy, bright red. Nothing remarkable states Ohio University on the Necropesy. Purina Feed Co. says it is from overeating. Any help please respond, maybe something that I can test for or any advice at all. I don't know abput the price thing. If I get an answer and it does not resolve the problem, SHould I hjave to pay?
