Carpet wetting/7yrs old

I have a real problem with my sh*tzu, When I get on the computer or get busy around house or leave him,he pottys on the rug . He has just been out to go potty but this is ruining my rug. I have tried everything. He was checked for a bladder infection. When I get mad he just wags his tail . I have bawled him out but he keeps doing it. What should I do . He lives with me by myself. Thanks
