Question

Behavior issue

Sent to Pet Experts July 26, 2005 11:50 a.m.

My cat is about two and a half years old, raised with my border collie mix. They both adore eachother and play constantly. However lately the cat, Kasper, seems a bit skiddish. Not from the rough playing, they still do that very happily. But something else. He keeps acting afraid of noises, movement behind him, etc. He jumps onto the bed like there is no tomorrow. He ususally sleeps inbetween my husband and myself, but not since this behavior started to intensify. It is almost like we need to announce our presence to him for him to get so scared. I was wondering if this could be because of wild animals in the back of the yard, mockingbirds teasing him, or something I should be concerned about.
